Auditions - Saturday, March 24, 2012

We are pleased to announce our 26th Annual Scholarship Competition giving young American singers the opportunity to work and study at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Teatro Regio Torino, and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, three of Europe's most prestigious opera companies. Up to a total of four scholarships will be awarded for the 2012/13 season. The confirmed date for the audition is Saturday March 24th, 2012 at the Liederkrantz Club in New York City.

The scholarship competition is open to American citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 30 who are beginning their professional careers. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in New York auditions. Transportation to and from New York is at the candidate's own expense. Applications must be received by March 2nd, 2012.
