DEADLINE for postmark is January 18th, 2013

We are pleased to announce our 27th Annual Scholarship Competition giving young American singers the opportunity to work and study at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Regio Torino, and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, three of Europe's most prestigious opera companies. Up to a total of four scholarships will be awarded for the 2013/14 season. The confirmed date for the audition is Monday February 4th, 2013 at the Liederkrantz Club in New York City.

The scholarship competition is open to American citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 30 who are beginning their professional careers. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in New York auditions. Transportation to and from New York is at the candidate's own expense. Applications must be postmarked by January 18th, 2013.
