We are pleased to announce our 24th Annual Scholarship Competition giving American singers the opportunity to work and study at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Teatro Regio Torino, two of Europe's most prestigious opera companies. Up to a total of three scholarships will be awarded for the 2009/10 season.

The scholarship competition is open to American citizens and permanent residents between the ages of 18 and 30 who are beginning their professional careers. Selected candidates will be invited to participate in New York auditions to be held March 2009. Transportation to and from New York is at the candidate's own expense.
